I think I'll take my tax rebate, get my ear pierced, get a tat, and buy a
Mexican Tele.......I'm 63, almost 64, what the Hell.....just don't
care.....or, maybe I'll skip the earring and tat....and buy a used G&L ASAT
or something. Or, if I get it soon enough, donate it to the Democratic
party. PapaCarl

I plan to buy a couple of parts for my Strat from Callaham Guitars and
Surh Guitars. New trem block and bar from Callaham and a noiseless
system from Suhr.

That's SO "on the $$$". SO many of these guys haven't clue 1 re; the
Fed, FOMC operations, discount rate change input, geopolitical
ramifications of trade war initiatives (i.e. other countries deciding to
drop the sword of Damocles and dump their holdings of U.S. debt
instruments on world markets all at once), etc.

They're uneducated and ignorant-- which itself, is unfortunate and
treatable, -but they're closed-minded (which itself, often, -not always-
tends to be a symptomatic byproduct of BEING uneducated and ignorant*) unfortunate and untreatable. mvm

It's not that easy..,it 's more of a long term concern. I'd guess the
majority of Walmart's inventory comes from countries like China, how
else can they afford to charge what they do?

I only said what I said because people always say "everything" that
Walmart sells is from China. Yes, I understand that most of their
inventory is from China. It's funny how people (not saying you because
I don't know you) have no problem justifying driving Japanese and
other imported cars because they are "better" and buy and play their
Epiphones and other guitars from Korea and China withouit a thought
and then automatically bash Walmart. I hear a lot of people use the
Ibanez tube screamer around here...why don't I hear them talking about
those not being made in the USA? They make excuses for whatever it is
they do, but bash Walmart. I'd also bet that most of these bashers
actually shop at Walmart regardless of what they say.

Ah. we're in agreement. Nonetheless, Walmart is a sickening organization
unto itself in terms of the sheer multiple spread between the Walton $$$
and executrons running it, vs. the worker bees.
