Threatening someone isn't cool...I don't do it. But, the stuff that goes on
in this newsgroup is very two way. Most of you guys would never say the
stuff you do to someone's face, and if you did, you would most likely be
getting your ass kicked a lot. When people sling crap around, Keith acts as
though he is there, hearing what they are saying and tells them how he would
act if he were there. Apparently, some guys don't like it when someone
tells them what would happen to them in many places if they behaved the way
they feel they can on usenet.....annonymity gives people courage I guess,

in this newsgroup is very two way. Most of you guys would never say the
stuff you do to someone's face, and if you did, you would most likely be
getting your ass kicked a lot. When people sling crap around, Keith acts as
though he is there, hearing what they are saying and tells them how he would
act if he were there. Apparently, some guys don't like it when someone

men"......"back in the day" a fight in school was just that, two guys set up
a time and place and met...had a fight and somebody won....today, a fight in
school is some asshole sucker punching a guy as he comes out of the Boy's
room, usually holding a bunch of books or something....and always sure to
have a teacher nearby that will break it up....or some girls baiting a
single girl into a trap and then jumping in her a group.....apparently these
people think that is tough.....and it ain't.

Amen....and they are alive and well on usenet....,it 's like a whole freakin
culture now. Recently I went to breakfast with my son, he is in his mid
thirties, played college football and works in federal law
enforcement...but, he is a liberal politically. Anyway, we sat in this
place and two guys there with their wives next to us were so freakin loud we
HAD to hear their stories and "issues." Whimps...flat out whimps.....they
acted way more feminine than their wives, and took orders from them like
taking orders from the corporate head. I am not a chauvanist...my wife and
I are equals, I listen to her, she listen to me, but I sure as Hell don't
sit and whine to her about how tough the world is and expect her to wipe my
nose and dry my tears. These two poor excuses for men sat there and bitched
continuously about their jobs, and what they wanted to say to their bosses
and all done to get sympathy from their wives and then let them tell them
how to handle the situation, one of them even suggested his wife call his
boss. I freaked me out, we listened both of us with smiles on our
faces....my son is far more tolerant than I am, we laughed our asses off
when we left....little boys still hooked to Mama, only now Mama is the
female they married. I wonder if the wives breast feed them? Whimps.

Amen....and they are alive and well on usenet....,it 's like a whole freakin
culture now. Recently I went to breakfast with my son, he is in his mid
thirties, played college football and works in federal law
enforcement...but, he is a liberal politically. Anyway, we sat in this
place and two guys there with their wives next to us were so freakin loud we
HAD to hear their stories and "issues." Whimps...flat out whimps.....they
acted way more feminine than their wives, and took orders from them like
taking orders from the corporate head. I am not a chauvanist...my wife and
I are equals, I listen to her, she listen to me, but I sure as Hell don't
sit and whine to her about how tough the world is and expect her to wipe my
nose and dry my tears. These two poor excuses for men sat there and bitched
continuously about their jobs, and what they wanted to say to their bosses
and all done to get sympathy from their wives and then let them tell them
how to handle the situation, one of them even suggested his wife call his
boss. I freaked me out, we listened both of us with smiles on our
faces....my son is far more tolerant than I am, we laughed our asses off
when we left....little boys still hooked to Mama, only now Mama is the
female they married. I wonder if the wives breast feed them? Whimps.

years later. I learned some time ago that much of the bullying, bluster
and cowardice we see in McCorporate 'Murka, "road rage", and of course,
in these ng's are the tantrums of aging boyginas who never had courage
in youth and have even less today. Laugh at them, they're pitiful.
Quietly enjoy serenity in the reality that sooner or later, somehow and
often on a very personal basis -they get theirs...and there's no rush.

I think you summed that up well. I wasn't around here (Trenton) in
'68....back then I was actually hanging out in Greenwich Village a lot on
weekends and living in North Jersey. Later came living in NY. I was
already out of college then, they tell me that Trenton was a rocking place
back then, there is still some incredible music around this area, really
great guitar guys.
