71 Fender Twin Reverb Mid Tone Control

My middle tone control on channel 2 doesn't seem to affect much. What
would this be an indication of? Perhaps a bad pot or cap?

If you are looking for the same type of variation that you see with
the treble or bass controls, you're not going to get that with the
Fender middle control. The circuit was not designed with mid boost in
mind.

Try turning the bass and treble controls down all the way. Now does
the mid control do anything?
