voltage doubler

voltage doubler

If I build this doubler * w w w .tpub . com /neets/book7/27m.htm figure 4-49
at the bottom of the page, for that unknown PT, any suggestions for C and R
values? Is this just like any other power supply circuit? Maybe a pair of
20mf caps and a couple of 5K-10K for R1 and R2? What about RL?

I'm thinking that the HT secondary just might be 120-0-120 @ 250mA. I'm
hoping to get cap input B+ somewhere in the middle 200's. If I can get that
with 110-120mA, I can build something Fenderish with 3x 12AX7 and 2x 6AQ5.
If it turns out lower mA than that, maybe I can build a single ended amp? I
don't have a SE EL84.

Maybe this ends up on eBay? I'm addicted. Please help me.

OK, I got help somewhere else. 220K resistors, 100uf caps, 4K load.
