Plush 3000G Voltage Regulator Tube?

I have acquired a Plush 3000G head without tubes. I was looking at
some old photos and in addition to the 6 6l6 tubes there is a 7th
"power tube" sized tube listed as a "Voltage Regulator Tube", but I
can't find what the tube model # is supposed to be. Anyone know ?

0A2 perhaps? That would be a small 7-pin tube. What's the socket? 0B3
fits an octal socket.

it is an Ocatal Socket. Someone suggested an 01A also. Does that
seem right?

No. First, it's a 4-pin tube. Second, it's triode not a diode. You need a
diode. See if you can find a 0B3 or a solid state substitute.
