'79 Marshall JMP 2204 Question

Hey. I'm thing of buying a '79 JMP 2204; i have pictures of the circuit
board on photobucket:
http :// s273.photobucket,com /albums/jj209/adam l79/jmp%202204/
I've never seen a '79 with a blue circuit board.. I'm no expert, but it
looks like the preamp is NOT cascaded.. by looking at the pictures, am I
right or wrong? If I'm wrong and the preamp is cascaded, how does the
board look to you pros?

thanks,
-adam

If it's a Marshall, it will have Marshall written on the circuit board.
I'll bet you this one was repaired way back when.

Its had work done. The 68k grid stopper is right on the V1
socket.....thats the way it should be, but few mfgrs do it that way.

that's what i was thinking.. orig. chassis w/ a cloned board. one quick
question.. how you can tell the preamp is cascaded by looking at the
circuit board.. on the board pictured, one of the the circuit board
sides has those 8 dots (not sure of the technical term) with no wires
connected to them. this is what my un-cascaded '77 JMP looked like; the
JMPs I've seen that I know were cascaded had wires attached to those
"dots" going towards the inputs. please shed some light on this for me.

thanks alot for the help.
