"Heavily Armed Rightwing Maniacs" I'm certain is no joke, based on your
earlier "rightings," Mr. Valve.
You don't seem to have matured very much since our last encounter.

You shouldn't say things like the above on Usenet, even in jest. Your
black-ops buddies with assault rifles, in their zeal to rid America of
subversives, just might suspect you're a closet "terrorist," come to get
you, and lock you in one of their detention camps. But all is not lost.
Maybe, in the humane compassion that characterizes radical
neo-KKKon$ervati$m, they'll let you convert their espionage gear back to
using obsolete vacuum tubes, and thus benefit your business.

I reworked my computer recently and neglected to keep you in my killfile. My
bad. Welcome back -
PLONK!

Howard,

It's great to have someone w/ a BSEE providing sound advice.

That poor guy's stuck for life on being stuck for life. He's now 60 and
living out his last years sans wisdom. Imagine the hell that must be. He
bought it too-- when he could've been purchasing far more valuable
things. Such is the curse of the perpetual fool.

Thanks! But I don't consider a college degree any guarantee of practical
knowledge and competence. It's what one can PRODUCE that counts.

I'm probably older than he is, but I've stayed fit, kept an open mind, and
found at least some wisdom. Without these, life can be miserable. I also
went through various mind-development courses, which collectively did me
alot of psychological good.

A mate of mine who swore by Germanium pedals got a high paid gig at the
Palladium, but on the night he couldn't get it working. Turned out to be
a lead problem, and he never got a nickel.

He was gutted he didn't spot such an elementary problem. :-/
