The only reasonable explaination (assuming you are not a troll), is that
something was broken on that amp.

personal problem is. Because for 90%+ of everyone else you are
quite wrong. Or stop playing the marshall SS stuff.

I've tried 600's, 800's, 900's, TSL's DSL's and also a JTM45 and none of
them even came close to a sound that I like for me. Some of my favorite
artists play Marshall though and I know it's because by the time their techs
are done modding their amps for them it's not even a Marshall any more. No I
wasn't trolling, though I was being a little fecetious.. I just wouldn't
even play one if it was given to me.

like and what is good tone for YOU.

I think a dual input 100w with high plate V and 6CA7s would change his
mind.
