That is quite a list Ed. 6 songs per set? If you get 5 minutes out
of each song (doubtful) that only gives you 30 minute sets.

When I was in a cover band, sets were a minimum of 45 minutes to an
hour long before breaks. Have things changed?

The thing I see missing are tunes that people will sing along to.

May or may not be important, but the tired old tunes like Old Time
RnR, Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl, Margaritaville, etc, always get
everyone to sing along, or at least pay attention.

Interesting selection of some tunes, going for more obscure tunes by
big names. Some of those tunes I don't know at all.

Good suggestions - Yeah MargareetaVille - I did that in my last band ,
need to get it back. & Mustang Sally yeah everyone likes that one . &
maye JonnieBeGoode ! The ones listed as Shamble are my originals ( so
I doubt hardly anyone has heard em) . We don't play out yet ( not the
highest priority - getting tight with a good set list is priority at
this point, and they are getting pretty good) - so the rules probably
haven't changed - but most the songs are Long versions were we do our
thing to them, up to 10 min on Comfortably Numb and 7+ for
whilemyguitargentyweeps. . But yeah we need more song to fatten up the
list. thus the question. Thanks Ed

Does Cumfo-Numb seem to "work" for you live, Ed?

I think it would be a great song for a tight
band to pull off. I'd like to hear it.

Lumpy - Yeah it works , except I can't sing and keep the rhythm going
properly - so wife takes the lead vocals.
On this I overdubd my self as I play all the parts ( except drums) -
but it comes out good with the band as well - its pretty close to this
live ( lead gets a lil more crazy live, cause now I can play better -
this was recorded about a year ago) .. Ed.

Livin in the USA - Chuck Berry (LindaR)

Shelly go nuts for a couple verses,
Ed go nuts on minor pent's for a couple verses.
Repeat till paramedics come for the guy in the
crowd having his MI.

SECR - Consider using both Cory and Charlie's "C's".
Then when you play somewhere make your flyers look
like -

"FRIDAY NIGHT seCCR IN CONCERT!!!"

Or if there was a "Bob" involved you could advertise:

"FRIDAY NIGHT: Bob SECR"

Snark.
