Danelectro pedal

I just got home with my $15 Danelectro overdrive pedal.

WOW!

Which one? Is it the Pastrami, Fab, or Daddy-O overdrive?

It's a Fab Overdrive. Love it.

By the way, where's my L-Pad? :-)

Anyway, I have really painful blisters on my fingers. Should I power
through, or take a couple days off?

Yeah, the FAB series is pretty cool.. much fx on the cheap. I have the FAB
Metal, but
it's in the drawer with the Pastrami Overdrive. The only fx I have plugged
in at the
moment are the Pepperoni Phaser, a Dallas-Arbiter Fuzzface, and a Dunlop
Cry-Baby.

What's the difference between that and the Fab?

The fab (besides being newer) has a deeper "grunge" type of drive to it.
If I'm not mistaken, there are some demo MP3's on Musician's Friend
that can demonstrate the difference a little better than I can describe it.

Re: Danelectro pedal

I have the whole set of Fab Pedals, set up on my custom pedalboard
with 9V DC running to all of them. If you're interested, I can give
you some direction as to how I mounted them.

Could be interesting to see how the rest of the crowd does it.
My particular favorite is a pair of matched velcro strips on
each pedal...makes swapping pedals at the last minute, easy. :)

Hey Reverend Fuzzy...in the early 70's my nickname was Uncle
Fuzz....really. I was heavily into my Foxx Fuzz box. It was even a
fuzzy red box!
