Recommend a tuner/metronome combo?

Recommend a tuner/metronome combo?

My tuner died and my metronome is borrowed -- so I'm in the market for a
combo. Any recommendations?

Depends how picky you are about either; I have a separate Boss DB-30
metronome that I really like (lots of options, and its sound is more
of a tick-tock than a chirp or beep), and a Korg GA-30 tuner, which
serves my purposes (prob the CA-30 would be better). They both make
all in one units; my guess would be the Boss would be a better
metronome.

Any particular reason for a combo?

Intellitouch tuner plus whatever you like
for a metronome is my suggestion.

Just one less thing to carry around -- but will look at the
Intellitouch. Thanks for the info.

If you haven't looked at some kind of
silent, clamp on type, consider trying
them someplace. The ability to quickly
check tuning without getting out the
little box, balancing it on your knee,
making it go "BEEEEEEP" etc is very
groovy.

Leave it clipped on to your guitar
forever if you care to. The rubber
won't damage the finish. Check it
once in a while anyway. Batteries
last for years.

Lumpy,

Does it work well with electric guitars? I'd guess it would -- a
vibration is a vibration.

I recently bought one of the Intellitouch PT-1s because I kept seeing
folks use them on stage. You couldn't ask for greater convenience in
a tuner. Works on both acoustic and electric, it in the dark or in
sunlight.

You can find full information here:

Now if I could just find a clip-on that made me play better...

I've got an Intellitouch tuner on my Tradition G-12 which is a copy of a
strat. Works fine. It's more convenient than my Korg GA-30 and Boss TU-12.

I use the Korg TM-40. I havent used any others so I can't compare it against
anything else. I am happy with mine though.
