Seriously though, bad enough to have the Logo rips but to put a serial
on the back and emboss "Made in the USA" when you state (as they do on
their "About Us" page),
"....All the musical instruments are fabricated in our China factory ,
and all the guitar accessories , like pickups , etc. , are imported
from Korea . "
That just sucks.
Don't get me wrong, the site is dead honest...they say it straight: We
make rip-offs...and our prices prove it...but we make 'em good.
Good enough that it could really tests the moral fiber of whoever re-
sells the buggers... I've not seen one live, but from the pics, I'm
not sure I could tell one from the real McCoy (particularly if they
put lead weights in 'em).
The Asian label does not bother me much...Fact is, most Epi's have
been made in Asia for decades...Samick (Korea and Indonesia) is the
biggest instrument maker on the planet (making "spec" guitars for 70%
of the market). Doesn't mean they're bad...but Caveat Emptor fur
sure,,,Like Feilo in China and the bulk of current discount condenser
microphones... hey, dat's Wock and Wole, but wow...ripping off Zakk
Wylde...that really takes balls of steel.

about £2000, but are probably sold stateside for $3000-$3500
