Find out where your guitar was made

This is an interesting site. You type in the serial number of your guitar,
hit "submit" and it tells you where your guitar was made (if you don't know
already):

http :// www .guitardaterproject.org/epiphone.aspx

Apparently the site is just for Epiphones. That detail escaped my attention
until after my original post. Oh, well. It might be useful for someone. I
did a quick Wikipedia check and discovered that since the 1970's Epiphones
are/have been manufactured in countries like China, Japan, Korea and
Indonesia.

Yup, I sure did miss the big brown square. Just came across the site,
thought it was cool but didn't spend any time checking it out in depth. I'm
glad it's more useful.
