Aussie help - window shopping in Sydney...

A local knowledge request...

I'm going to Sydney for the weekend at the end of May. Where might I
find either a really good range of bass guitars - preferably including
things like the MusicMan Bongo which don't appear to like crossing the
tasman - or the new active OLP basses (which is probably all I can
afford and which also seem reluctant to cross the water).

Also, is there a shop in Sydney that has a good range of interesting
'ethnic' or unusual stringed instruments.

Thanks.

There's one place to go... Bass People, Parramatta Road, Annandale.
Try to avoid the Ritters and Alembics :)

Sorry, can't help with that.
