I got one of these from Walgreens (big drugstore chain in the USA) for
$3.99. It's got pretty much any tool you might need at a gig for a quick
repair - and it's all in one little pouch.

Gaff tape comes in a multitude of colours. For singer emission reduction
though the stuff you want to use is what's known as "hundred mile an
hour" tape. The name comes from doing car rigs in movies where you might
want say a piece of cardboard stuck to a window to cut sunlight and you
need ultra bomber tape to keep it there with the car doing 100 mph. It
looks just like duct tape and I've only ever seen it in silver and
occasionally black. I guess you have to decide if you want to make a
fashion statement when you gag the singer or if you wanna do a job that
will *STAY* done.
