Thanks Nigel as well as Joe. I order some 3 amp 250 volt 20mm slow
blow fuses from Action Electronics. One of the few online stores that
seemed to have fuses with these specs. Even the local Radio Shacks
didn't have em.
As for the blown fuse it was operator error.
