Shirley Temple Like fender Jazz Basses?

She was born in 1928 and I'd guess shes about 6 in the picture.
I'd guess the pic is a PhotoShop job?

No, there must be another explanation. They didn't have photoshop in
1928.

Come on! Just look at that photo! It's a left-handed bass! All you
have to do to prove the photo a fake is find another photo that proves
she's right-handed! Just find one of her shaking hands from her
ambassador days!

Just because a lefty is what was lying around doesn't mean that she
wasn't holding a bass for some photographer somewhere.
Awesome attitude, tho

She's got man-hands to be able to get her thumb all the way around.

Photo-shop almost certainly. If you're not into Photoshop and similar
(I'm not), it can be hard to tell, but people who do this regularly are
better at spotting it - might want to ask a someone who works in
computer graphics for a living.

You're not quite sure? I don't know, she's holding it like she knows how to
play. And those thin necks make it pretty easy to get even smaller hands
around. Looks like she's about to slam a mean pinky hammer-on, too. I'd take
a look at it again. And maybe the fact that Fender didn't start making
basses until 30 years after that pic was taken.

Oh, I don't know, Steve... let's just say that it's a Photoshop job, for
sure. You know, what the heck.

I done some cipherin' and figgerin', and it looks to me like that bass
is only about 32 inches long, from stem to stern. Either that, or
Shirley Temple was a real, real big kid at age six.

Heck of a nice job on the photo, though. Very funny!

Have you seen this one?

I can't find a better image of it on the 'net. I've got a nice one of
this taped to a file cabinet at home.

OK, guys, I get the idea that it's most than _almost_ certainly
Photoshop. :)

FAKE! FAKE! FAKE!!!!

Everybody know that Shirely Temple prefers short scale Gibson basses! Duh!

This was probably doctored by those greedy Fender corporate bastards trying
to introduce a new "Shirely Temple" model Jazz bass.

Damn them!

Yes. That's real. She was part of a band known as the Shirley Temple
Pilots.
