Sounds to me like you were unprepared. I don't think it's a good idea to
give a performance and then make excuses for it later. If it's not
ready, then don't do it.

I give you credit for even making the attempt, but as far as "bang for
the buck" goes it's not a song I think is worthwhile, especially since
you seem to imply that an "entire 1.5 hour set" is something that takes
a lot of preparation. If the band was established and had plenty of
material, then I might consider devoting the time to something like that.

Even if you have the time to perfect it, I don't think it would be much
of a crowd pleaser. If you don't absolutely nail it, I think it becomes
a negative. If you do manage to nail it, I think only musicians/singers
who understand the difficulty will really appreciate what you did.

Cheers for the info. there is a short excerpt from them doing Rhapsody
on their website. Looks like they do a good version!
