While logically I agree with your statement, human nature tends to
excess. If you HAVE too much PA, you want to USE too much PA. My
experience with people who have too big a PA is that they tend to do
exactly what John's guy does... They run EVERYTHING into it, all of
the time, and it's a disastrous mess.

Of course, I would never do that!

That's also why 164% of all live band performances exceed the sane level
of volume by over 314%. You can look it up. When your eyeballs stop
vibrating from the excessive volume, that is.

Either way, no one is around at the end of the night to load a big PA into
the van.
