I had no instinctive sense for harmony, melody, or the groove, but I
learned.

I tried playing piano in my youth and couldn't do it at all. Now in
my old age I can. I think it was that golf book that did the trick.

after reading all the replies to the OP i have decided that you all

Sure, you can see people who don't got it, no argument there.

Even later in life, people can learn to play. And groove. If you see
someone who hasn't "got it", it's not a hopeless cause, is what I was
trying to say. That does "address the O-OP" <g>. --D-y
