Repair a Digitech RP2000.

Repair a Digitech RP2000.

Hi all, I am in Scotland and have an Digitech RP2000 that is not very
well.
It suddenly started making a horrible growling noise, I had it to
Sound Control,and the tech there Jim told me had checked a couple of
things that it could have been but had no luck.
He tells me my only option now is to send it to DT themselves but he
warns that once they have it, they will do everything thats neccessary
to get it going, even if the cost of this exceeds a new unit.

My question is this, are there any trusted guys reading this that
would be willing to have this sent to them and give me a price to
repair it?
I was in contact ages ago with a guy in the Uk who offered to do this
for me but sadly I lost his details. I am hoping he reads this post
but would be glad to hear from anyone else who could do this as a cash
job for me.
