Echoplex question

Does anyone know how to perform the following echoplex function??

I lay down a drum beat with a kit on loop 1,

then I pick up my bass and multiply over to loop 2 and lay my bass
line over the drums;

then i put a guitar over the drums and bass on loop 3 (thereby
completing my "A" section).

Now I want to start recording a new bass line over JUST the drums
(from loop 1) onto loop 4, so that I can start a "B" section.

Problem is : I want to start the recording on loop 4 immediately, and
not have to first go back to loop 1, wait through the whole loop
before doing a multiply onto loop 4 to start recording the bass line
for the "B" section!

If you have any suggestions, I would be most grateful!! (by the way,
im still using Loop III software, and im not sure the upgrade to Loop
IV would help me with my problem)

Thanks and happy looping

Maybe not by searching, but it's my impression they know about looping
there, so try signing up and ask the Q...
