If you mean that you had trouble playing chords through the box, all
of the analog octave pedals are like that; at least, all of the ones
I've ever tried which includes Boss, MXR and Foxrox. If you want to
play chords with an octave effect that doesn't warble and jump around,
you really need to get into digital.
I got my Foxrox Octron 2 a few weeks ago and I like it a lot. While
you can't play chords through it, it's very cool for single note lines
and solos as long as you avoid double stops.
