Boss FDR-1 pedal?

Has anyone tried this pedal yet? it could be just what I'm looking for
electric slide/lap steel - trem, reverb and OD all in the same box. It would
be running into a Fender Blues deluxe. FWIW, I like Boss SD-1 type overdrive
and good spring (eg Holy Grail) or plate type reverb.

Also if anyone can tell me a reliable US source that ships Boss products
overseas I would be very grateful; many of the big name sources do not. They
charge like wounded bulls here in Oz, the current selling price is about
US$250 for the FDR-1.
