Da Barber Electronics LTD silver Edition

Da Barber Electronics LTD silver Edition

Hi all,

Yesterday I received my new pedal: It's the silver LTD (not the black
one or the recent black with white buttons). Well I tested it
yesterday for about 1 hour.

My basic config is as follow:

Parker PM-20 (humbuckers)
LTD SE
Traynor YCV50 blue

TONE:
It's a low to mid gain pedal used for rock and blues. I won't review
it just yet because I didn't had enough time with this little beast.
But as of now I love it. I'll try to record something with it so you
can hear the sound. For now you can hear some barber samples on their
website at: * w w w .barberelectronics . com /sounds.html

My next songs will use it very much so if you're interested you can go
on my webpage: w w w .soundclick . com /g1mike and wait until I release a
new song ( probably in the next few days )

I'll be back....

Hey,
After a week of testing the Silver LTD, I came to one conclusion: I
LOVE IT.
It's one of the first pedal I own that doesn't affect the tone of my
guitar/amp at all.
Pure signal clarity without loss, even in bypass mode. It's like an
overdrive amp in a box.
I'll try to record some sound clips so those who are interested can
hear it. Anyone interested?

Wow only one? Well what would you want to hear, Don?

Guitar -> LTD -> PC
or
Guitar -> LTD -> AMP -> MIC -> PC

I can make some recordings with 2 different drive settings too. (The
tone control don't change the tone very much, for a bigger tone range
you might try the Special Recipe edition)
Anyway, I'll do this tonight or tomorrow MAX. I'll do my best to
record it tonight though.

I'm sure there's more than one, I just had itchy fingers. I guess the amp
chain would be the most relevant, but you get a lot of info the other way
too.

Thanks.

OK I'm not a very good guitar player, but I'll do my best to show you
what it can do. (not much, just sweet overdrive in fact :P )

Cool .. thanks. I gather the stuff at the end is with the Barber off? I
see what you mean by not changing tone of the amp. The guitar sounds the
same only over driven. Hope you get a chance to do an amp demo.

Yeah I'll try to record it tonight, but I can't record at high volumes
because I'm in an apartment.
Again I'll add no EQ, no Nothing. Just the pedal direct in amp
