UA bike boxes at Sydney ?

Reply from: Nobody

Does anyone know if United Airlines stocks bicycle boxes at Sydney airport ?

A friend who does not live near Sydney will be flying in may. It appears that
United no longer accepts to pass request from pax to the airport staff for a
call back with the answer. (Or so I was told). Is this truly the case ?

Is there a way for that person to find out for sure whether UA currently has
bike boxes at the Sydney airport ?

(He would be travelling to Sydney either by bike or by train).

Not sure, but I've added the Australian group to this, and I bet someone
there knows the answer (or how to get one). Aus.bikes or whatever it's
called might be an option, too.

I can't say that I know about UA. However, in 2004 I was able to
purchase on from QANTAS for about $15 or $20 (Australian dollars).

The following site is also a useful resource for flying with bicycles:
http:\\www.bikeaccess.net

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Don

Call UA's reservations - they should be able to bring it up on their
system. Demand to speak to a Supervisor or the Manager on Duty.
