Hmmm ... '61' is the country code for Australia, and '7' is the state
code for Queensland. So I called the remaining numbers, and got an
invalid number response.

How could it be?

Because you're a brainless turd who doesn't know how to use a
telephone is my guess :)

Yes, that was my first reaction too.

However, that theory was quickly discounted when I took a survey
of my friend and colleagues.

It is possible that it is a US number and you need to dial country code
1. The separation of the numbers as listed is the normal for NADP
numbers. I suspect it isn't time for "Spring Deals" in Australia.

Surely not?

I mean to say, *no-one* would be stupid enough to publish a phone number
in an international forum without specifying a country code, would they?

Oh boy, a spammer that wants us to go to their motherland..... Let me see,
Russia? Germany? Wrong... It's India. Prices aren't that great and I
would NEVER buy from a spammer.
