You are absolutely correct. Demeanor, interaction with the passengers and
company image are an intricate part of every airline pilot's job, and many
have lost that job for violating these conditions of employment. Those who
believe an airline pilot's job simply involves flying the aircraft and
nothing else are deeply ill informed.
