rear speakers

Hi i have a 1998 honda civic 4d. i just bought new speakers for my
car, but i cant take out the old speakers from the honda because you
have to open it from the top with your key... but when i try to put my
key in it doesnt seem to go in. so i have no clue how to take out my
old speakers from my honda. it will be really good if someone could
give me guide on how to uninstall my rear speakers from my honda.

thanks!

Should be a plastic handle inside of the trunk just below the rear shelf.
Pull on this hard and push against the back of the rear seats and it should
allow the seats to fold down. Or get into the trunk and do the work from
there.
