Yes I know about the tranny problems with the vehicle, but
among you owners, how many actually experience the
breakdown, and around what mileage?

Anywhere between 2K miles and 500K depending on the make of the car, the
type of transmission (manual/auto, tranny cooler, use), and wether or not
the owner is an asshole.
