97 ZJ Rear Door Speakers - Infinity 6012i Replacments

I picked up a pair of these. I can use the plastic adapter ring for
mounting them.
My question is :

Is there a 'smart' way to go about wiring them that preservers the OEM
plug/jack hardware?
