I found a site that will tell you all you need to know, it is
http :// www .nastyz28,com /chevy-engine-code-stampings.php but to answer
your question the motor is "K" means it was made in St Catherines in
Ontario "01" means it was made in January "29" means it was on the
29th day of the month and the CMR= 1980 305cid auto trans. "H LG4"
should appear in the VIN 155hp 4bbl carb full size vehicle, could
be a pickup. Most likely a 2 bolt main.
