Teaching jobs - No teaching experience needed

LanguageCorps provides English teaching jobs in Asia for experienced
teachers and
people who are looking to teach but have no teaching experience or
TEFL / TESOL training.

English teachers are in high demand in Asia. Teaching English can be
rewarding and personal fulfilling.

Is that how you advertise your language school to prospective
students?

"Come and learn English at LanguageCorps. Many of our teachers have
absolutely no training or teaching experience whatsoever"

Chris

Can you tell me how many people (who are native speakers of English)
have formal training to teach English around the world?

How many people teach English in countries around the world but have
no formal teaching experience or training?

Does speaking English or any other language give to the tools you need
to teach?

What impact does no formal training have on the people who pay to
learn English?

Is it right to attract the people who don’t the right experience or
training to do a better job?

How many people from other industries / sectors come into teaching?

Are you a teacher?

Being a native speaker of English doesn't guarantee you will be able to
teach English.

Far, far too many with predictable results!

No, definitely not! From my experience, natural born teachers are rather
thin on the ground! Even a basic certificate in TESOL or TEFL would
provide some grounding in educational theory

They learn it parrot fashion, if at all, without any real understanding
of the underlying grammar with the end result that they don't really
speak or understand English very well at all. In most countries, such
activities are labeled as "fraud".

Totally and utterly wrong! If the person doesn't have experience "and"
training, the students are being ripped off.

A lot but that is no guarantee they can teach either. Experience in an
industry doesn't automatically provide one with teaching skills.

BEd + Industry training qualifications.

University lecturing, Technical training, In-House training in my Govt.
Department.
Recently retired and now doing part time tutoring of OS students.

As well, I am a native born speaker of English but I would not even
think of teaching English UNTIL I had, at the very least, a Certificate
in TESOL / TEFL.

*********Congratulations! You have just proved the theory that there
is no limit to human stupidity. Rumor has it that you are almost
incomprehensible in person (as revealed by your desperate urge to
babble nonsensically on message boards.) No doubt, this rumor is true.

If your brain matter was axle grease, there wouldn't be enough in your
head to grease the dynamo on a lightening bug's ass. You must have a
very large brain to hold such a vast amount of sheer ignorance. If you
knew what you're talking about, you'd be dangerous. You bring to mind
a quote from Josh Billing: "Doesn't know much, but leads the league in
nostril hair."

You are about as entertaining as a child's inflatable punching toy.
You bop it, it springs back, you bop it again and you forget it ever
existed. It slowly deflates in an unused corner, then one day you
throw it away. If I had wanted to talk to somebody with your
personality, I would be at the damn pet store talking to the lizards.
Maybe you wouldn't be such a Jerk-In-The-Box if you'd had enough
oxygen at birth; if your weren't so fat that you make sumo wrestlers
look anorexic, or if you didn't have a face that could scare a hungry
wolf off a meat truck. No, come to think of it, you would.

Please try to have some small idea of what in the hell you're talking
about before you try to post again.

I know what I am talking about but it would seem that you do not.
