g25 wheel and Rfactor

Hi,

I've had my G25 wheel for a month, but just downloaded the trial of rfactor
yesterday. I'm tossing up whether to purchase Rfactor, and have 2 questions.

1. In the demo/trial, you can select the option to turn off auto clutch, but
it is ignored. The car will always shift without the clutch, and the display
shows the gearbox going into neutral before the next year. Is this fixed in
the unlocked/full version?

2. What autocross type cirucuits are there, and what are they like? My
biggest love is Rallying and RBR, so this what I'd like to spend time with
if I bought Rfactor.

Any comments much appreciated,

Tim

Hi Tim,

I'd purchase rfactor no matter what kind of racing you prefer ;-) the
retail version comes with the Lienz festival of speed which features
rallye-type cars and a "bergrennen" / hill climb type circuit in various
layouts. It's not as good as RBR IMHO, but given that rfactor covers
nearly all aspects of racing (from karts to monster trucks), it's a must
buy for any sim lover. Support from ISI is quite good, too.

All the best, uwe

Tim

rFactor has every possible setup for shifting.
If you look at the "playername".ini you will see settings for h-shifters,
sequential shifters, etc. U can have it go to neutral between shifts or
not, you can auto-blip or not, etc. etc.

Buy rFactor - you will not regret it ;)
