I actually was going to post tonight or later in the week that my
prediction still stands. I did revise it tho - I said ChampCar will not
make it to the first race or second or third race. I figure if it does not
make it to the second or third race that means it was basically already dead
by the first race. Kind of like being brain dead but only machines keeping
you alive. ChampCar is exactly like a brain dead person. Today's race was
a joke. I got the impression not even the announcers believed what they
were saying.
So, my prediction still stands till the third race. If they make it to
the third race which I still believe they will not make then I will admit I
was wrong.

Well this is just like the weather man trying to forecast the
weather. Make the prediction often enough and sooner or later you
just might get it right. Trouble is predicting the demise of Champ
Car might take 100+ years, but not much of anything in this world is
going to last forever. Champ Car might be around long after the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway has faded into history (and don't think it
can't happen) but sooner or later its likely to pass into history
too. Yet if you are around another 100 years or so and keep
predicting that Champ Car is going to be a part of history one day you
likely will be right. I doubt I will be alive to see it, but maybe
you will.
