LVGP thoughts

Nice wide track

On track pass for lead. Cool.

PT blocking. No surprise.

Street course with elevation changes.

Interesting chicane.

Couldn't the promoter of the race hired some of those guys who pass
out the escort service cards to sit in the grandstands?

too many yellows already.

3 wide on a street course?

More as I finish watching the race.

Setting new standards for street course design?

Pretty impressive that they actually tore up and re-paved an entire
intersection.

Looks like the DP01 is living really is able to run in traffic. Actual
passing possible and relief for guys stuck behind traffic. This makes the
new car worth it in all by itself.

Not an atypical pattern for ChampCar races nowadays. Yellow at start, yellow
breeds one or two more yellows, race actually commences and runs
(relatively) trouble free.

They would be better off shortening the pre-race TV and show some of those
taped clips during the first two yellows.

Great to see Walker get a win, one of the true gentleman of the sport. On
his birthday no less.

Too bad they don't have the on board starters quite sorted out yet. Or the
standing starts. This business of a rolling staggered start will never fly.
