[rasc World Series] Standings after Las VegasNow, we've kicked off at one of the better street courses we've seen in the
Champ Car World Series. Long, fairly wide, passable and fast -- that's what a
750-hp race car needs. Kudos to everyone who made this possible.
Now the rec.autos.sport.cart World Series. Tim Eichman, Frank....H, Gary Shell
and current champion Atomic Mutant all had the highest practice points total
this weekend. Alien and 2112_ follow with 118 points, Chris Halverson amassed
110 points.
Then qualifying. That became prey for me, with 126 points to Pat W's 122 and
Frank....H's, Atomic Mutant's, Tim Eichman's 75 points. Big gap there!
But Pat W's the big winner this weekend as he gained 109 points on raceday
whereas everyone else had to do with 70 points or less (jcybert 70, Wingman &
Chris Halverson 58) and takes the lead in the championship, a whopping 94
points ahead of #2, which of course is me ;-)
