OT - Dyson out of LMP1 in ALMS?

OT - Dyson out of LMP1 in ALMS?

Just heard on the Speed Report that Robin Miller has a scoop on Dyson
fielding two LMP2 Porsche Spyder RS's.

Looks like LMP1 is REALLY going to suck next year. Pray for Creation and
Zytek to cross the pond.

We'd worked that one out last night... Dailysportscar kept talking about
a 'dramatic' announcement and it sounded like it had something to do
with Germany. ;)

Are Dyson getting developed '05/'06 cars or new '07 ones?

No official confirmation yet, but I imagine that these would be new '07
variants. Unless Dyson purchased Penske's old cars (which I highly
doubt) the new 'Evo' would be the only variant available.

Some interesting porsche snippets, too, they've lost Luhr and
Rockenfeller to Audi. Trouble for the Captain?

My impression was that Roger got Porsche drivers as part of the deal of
fielding the test mules. Methinks the loss of those two was part of
something bigger than Penske.

ALMS and ACO need to get their rules back line: The invitations to Le Mans
are all screwed up because some cars in ALMS were not up to ACO Le Mans
spec.
