Bourdais - not dead last!!

Bourdais - not dead last!!

Well, by Friday....Bourdais was almost two seconds faster then Scot speed
(who spent the WHOLE YEAR) in the car...

Amazing performance by Bourdais...

12) Bourdais, Toro Rosso-Cosworth (B), 1:21.277, 100
13) Wurz, Williams-Toyota (B), 1:21.368, 64
14) Andretti, Honda (B), 1:21.888, 67
15) Speed, Toro Rosso-Cosworth (B), 1:23.315, 14

Interesting, but the ONLY real comparisons you can make are those in the
same car...

interesting..., but Bourdais on the FIRST day was essentially the SAME speed
as Scott (who been in the car all year).

After two days...12) Bourdais was running 2 seconds faster....simply
amazing...

Really, put Bourdais in any of the cars..and on day 1...he is matching the
full time driver...and after two days....faster...

>14) Andretti, Honda (B), 1:21.888, 67

even with a Honda...Andretti is not up to speed.

Certainly not Bourdais is the one being dead last as reported in this ng...

Remember that Scott only did a handful of laps before his day was done.
He didn't have much opportunity to run faster. However, Bourdais did
post the fastest lap of any STR driver during the week. All in all, such
a comparison isn't easy.

That being said, Bourdais did make a very impressive run. Berger's
comments indicate that Bourdais could be in the running for a race seat
in '08.

I've commented on this before, but this was his first time in the car
and his first time at the track. Nothing stellar, but not a signal of
weakness either.

That was posted by a troll, the infamous Dot. It's a rabid Andretti,
AGR, and IRL zealot with no sensibility whatsoever. Don't take anything
it posts seriously, and don't attempt to engage it in any serious
discussion - you'll get nowhere with it. Just a warning and suggestion.

Sorry history revisionist, but he was clearly DEAD LAST
as reported and documented by the provided URLs (for
those denizens far too stupid to so much as independently
locate factual, widely publicized info). Eighteen year old
Rookie of the Year Marco Andretti very nearly won the
Indy 500; check that accomplishment against the self-
admitted "too frightened to run ovals" Bourdais' pathetic
performance at "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing".

I wasn't aware either Marco or Bourdais had raced at the Monaco GP.

He was last until Marco showed up and went slower in one of the
fastest cars at the test.

But in a slower car , in a series that is not fixed, Bourdais
humiliated Marco.

What's that irritating, insignificant buzzing sound? Is that what trolls

That movie is one of the best sources of quotes ever, second only to
Office Space IMO.

Office space quotes are great because there's so much truth in them.

One of my Matrix faves:
"I know what you're thinking, 'cause right now I'm thinking the same thing.
Actually, I've been thinking it ever since I got here: Why oh why didn't I
take the BLUE pill?"
