Feeding the trolls? Yep - its the off-season and there's nothing else to
do here...
A couple EARLs have asserted that CCWS is going to fold after the 2007
season. Well, time to put your money where your mouth is. I'm betting
that CCWS survives. If you have balls, make your bet that it won't. If
CCWS folds before it can start it's 2008 season, you win and I lose. If
the green flag flies for the start of the 2008 season, you lose and I win.
The wager is for $50 US. Winnings go to a charity of the winner's choice
that isn't offensive to the loser.

If I didn't already have plans for going to Road America to officiate
next year, I'd make the trip up to Edmonton. However, I have to keep an
eye on my vacation time...

The wager still stands.
For those who are not familiar with a proper wager, they were part of
the Roman litigation system during the Republic. Both parties were to
lay down a wager during the preliminary hearing. The wager of the
winning party would be returned, but the wager of the losing party would
be forfeited to the state. The main effect of this system was to
discourage frivolous litigation.
This is the nature of our wager, except that the winnings will go to a
charity. So, if any are willing to show that their assertions are not
frivolous, the opportunity is right here.
