Curt Cavin: "Andrettis Excited, Marco Showed Well"

From the Indystar website:

Question:
Looks like Marco had an excellent test in Spain. The
European press seems to be making a big deal that he
was last on the timesheets in last year's car. Look a
little closer and you will see Marco was only 7/100's
of a second slower than the time Klein (Honda test
driver and former F1 driver) posted in the old car
the day before. Honda is probably keeping Michael's
mouth closed. See what Mario has to say about the
test. (CJ, Raleigh, N.C.)

Answer:
They're understandably excited; he showed well. I
suspect this raises the possibility that Marco will jump
the pond in 2008, although I still predict 2009.

And as Eugene Allan Brewer supplemented his article
"Marco Moves In Fast Circles on Second Test Day:
A Honda F1 Ride Looms for 2009, Maybe Sooner
After Jerez Success on the FastMachines website":

"I didn't mention it in the article, but look who Marco
is only .8 of in arears (reigning, two-time, world
champion Fernando Alonso) barely his third day in
an F1 seat, in the rain, and the wind.

Yikes!"

Yeah. And. So. What.

Too bad he's wasting his time in a roundy round series. Last I

Even though he wasn't at Barcelona, Marco was:

1. Brilliant
2. Made no mistakes
3. Quite Impressive
4. Quite Excited
5. Demonstrated a high level of ability
6. Named Andretti
7. NOT dead last (anymore)

;-D
