I can't beat that, but a couple years ago after I came home from my
first Canadian F1 Grand Prix I was hanging out at a buddy's place and
his NASCAR-fan brother asked me if Danica was there. I told him she
wasn't in F1, but in the IRL. "Pfft - them open wheeley things is all
the same."
This was the same guy who didn't want to go to the ALMS or Grand-Am
races at Lime Rock because 'you don't get to see racecars based on
street cars like you do in NASCAR.'
Likewise, true story.
