Well, how about this:

01. Paul Tracy 1:19.784 (110.097 mph / 177.184 kph)
02. Simon Pagenaud (R) 1:19.998 + 0.214 sec.
03. Sebastien Bourdais 1:20.197 + 0.413
04. Justin Wilson 1:20.310 + 0.526
05. Alex Tagliani 1:20.437 + 0.653
06. Robert Doornbos (R) 1:20.991 + 1.207
07. Will Power 1:21.007 + 1.223
08. Tristan Gommendy (R) 1:21.565 + 1.781
09. Neel Jani (R) 1:21.618 + 1.834
10. Dan Clarke 1:22.123 + 2.339
11. Ryan Dalziel (R) 1:22.202 + 2.418
12. Mario Dominguez 1:22.384 + 2.600
13. Katherine Legge 1:22.420 + 2.636
14. Alex Figge (R) 1:22.788 + 3.004
15. Graham Rahal (R) 1:23.307 + 3.523
16. Matt Halliday (R) 13:20.444 +720.660

Simon Pagenaud is showing some real promise. Only one in the 1:19 bracket with
polesitter. Of course, three-time champ Sebastien Bourdais had some mechanical
woes so he got in only a couple of laps, but still.

My countryman Doornbos does okay so far.

I'll be deliberately provocative here: do Americans only want American drivers
because they seem to suck in a field full of furriners? :-p

Tracy first to lead the championship and will start at least 2nd Sunday!

Not this American. I don't care where they are from or
the language they speak as long as they have talent.
Now on the onther hand the drooling goobers. .......

I've been wondering what happened with Graham. I heard that the NHL
(NHL?!? Ha! ;-p ) cars were having mechanical issues. There had to have
been some problem. I have a hard time believing Graham was 3.5 seconds
off PT's pace, and roughly 1 second off Legge's pace, because he didn't
find the speed without some kind of issue. Unless, of course, Graham
pulls a Heikki this weekend...

Yep:
Graham Rahal #2 Medi | Zone Cosworth/DP01/Bridgestone

"It was a session of problems for the Medi | Zone team. At the end of
the session I thought I had two good laps left then we had a shifting
problem. I couldn't shift up or down. We think we had an electrical
problem that led to a shifting problem. Before that, the Medi | Zone car
was acting really good and I was really pumped. I had a good out lap and
I thought it was only going to get better but I went into Turn 1 and the
shifting problem started. It's a good thing that there are two
qualifying sessions because we should definitely be up there."

So, Von Twat, in response to your earlier trolls, there seems to be 17
cars for Vegas.
