"These are a few of my favourite names"

Inspired by (but not quoting from) an old thread in Atlas F1 forum:

My favourite authentic personal name I have come across in motor sport
is "JOHNNY SPARKS", which sounds appropriate for both a WW2 hero and a
lead singer for a punk band.

The unwieldiest name in motor sport has to be that of Viscount William
Rudolph Michael (Rollo) Feilding, 11th Earl of Denbigh, 9th Earl of
Desmond, whom I watched throw a Lotus Seven around Silverstone's club
circuit in circa 1962, despite his apparent 19th Century moniker.

Most Like Coronation Street names include racers Fred Funnell and Tom
Toon; absolutely genuine.

The winner for worst name in all of motor sports is Dick Trickle, who had a
pretty good NASCAR career in the 80s and early 90s.

"Lake Speed" is an unfortunate name too; may as well be called
"Stationary". (His full name is Lake Chambers Speed, go figure.)

"Chevalier d'Orgeix" was a French stock-car racer of the 1950's, but
his name sounds like he may have served at the Court of King Arthur
----.
