Pointless interviews (Hamilton and all the rest, yawn)

Drivers: shut up and and drive.
Media bosses: fire on the spot ANYONE who asks the following dumbass
questions:

(To sports figure after winning) How are you feeling right now?
(To sports figure after losing) How are you feeling right now?
(To any sports or political person) What do you make of your chances
in today's XYZ?
(To any sports or political person) Do you think you made a mistake
in today's XYZ?
(To all of them) What are your plans for next week's XYZ?

How many times have I heard "It was really close for most of the
race". Well thanks mate, but we WERE watching for the last 60
minutes. Or "I was trying really hard but we had to settle for
second". Yes, I did notice you came in second, and now I've learned
that driving for an F1 team entails trying really hard. Fascinating
stuff.

Could we add
(From ITV UK presenter)... after just watching the cars engine blow and
getting the driver in the pits "...So what happened?"

The one that really annoys me is: "How disappointed (substitute
'angry', 'upset' or whatever you are trying to get the guy to say) are
you ...?"

A leading question init?

Ah, for the times of one Norman Graham Hill, who, on being asked just such a
question, replied point blank that what really p***ed him off just before a
race was being asked that type of question by a ***** journalist....or
something very close to that.
I seem to remember Denny the Bear doing the same thing to a poor TV journo
in the US, then laughing his arse off about it inside the motor
home...before returning outside to comfort the hapless journalist by giving
hime the nicest, friendliest interview ever.

Too much corporate bullshit and money is involved, they're only allowed to
ask stupid questions.

I'd like to see post-watershed (9pm in the UK) interviews, with no fear of
comeback from bosses or sponsors...

What has the watershed got to do with bosses and corporate sponsors? They
don't want drivers being compromised by journalists what ever time its
broadcast. And drivers don't want to be embarrassed or compromised either.

The media can be very cunning and will stitch you up what ever the time of
day, thats why they put so much effort in to media training. (Max, are you
reading this?)

Let's see, you're the press and asked to speak to F1 drivers...Mmm..

Not hard to work out they ask them questions and F1 Drivers answer (all part
of the politics of the sport like Nazi FIAerrari never caught cheating)

If you don't want to see al the press coverage inbetween races, Why go
looking for it THEN post it here?

Ah hang on, Google groups...forget answering that.
