Does it always have to be motorsport? How about IPL? Aren't you guys
getting it in the UK? I think Setanta is covering UK, Channel 10 in
Australia, NZ, and Sony MAX in North America...
It started with a cracker on Friday (what a knock by McCullum), and
its catching up like anything here. I thought it was going to be just
another T20 tournament, but looking at the spirit in which all the
players are playing the tournament, its just awesome. 87000 folks
turning up for a match and braving 45 degrees at Eden Garden, the
sound was deafning. I couldn't believe what I seeing on the television.
Then the one at Mumbai, the folks there use a typical tone for cheering
the little master, but amazing to see that they used the same one to
cheer the other overseas players too from the Mumbai team... A full
house too. Much of it a derived concept, IPL, but T20 surely changing
the way cricket is played, experienced, a full value for money for
the spectators. We surely now need bigger stadiums (just one 100000
capacity at Eden), each metro has to have one of those; would be cool
to turn up for a match after work.
Too bad we aren't seeing the English players though.

Martin: "Pathetic lap from Frentzen there. He's all over the place:
locking wheels left, locking wheels right, and it's not going to get
him anywhere this one."
Murray: "Frenzten moves up to third."
Martin: "I was wrong. He did lock his brakes but obviously he was
travelling faster when he did it."
Murray: "Now you know how I feel!"
