Schmacher supposedly was more robotic and could put down lap after lap
at the same time and turn it up when he needed. As a person, he may
have been lacking and also at times as a driver, but he could drive
fast.
Kubica reminds me of say Niki Lauda. Niki is a motor mouth today but
in his F1 days he was fairly quiet, very smart, focused, brave,
determined and I think was very smooth and easy on the tires. I think
Kubica is another Lauda type. He lost at least 15 pounds in the off
season to get to starvation level to reduce weight and improve speed.
