Contrary to expectation (well, contrary to *my* expectation) I thought
the TV camerawork was excellent.

It wasn't as bad as I feared, I have to admit. The director did test my
patience when he concentrated on Alonso for a long time but, to be fair,
there was little other action going on at the time.

It did appear as though he was looking at the timings to find the
closest cars and then following those in the hope of catching a pass.
Missed a few.

Cheers

Geoff

Wasn't the direction of the cameras the duty of a FOA crew? I didn't
think it was local TV's anymore.

Dunno, I thought it was still local. You may be right.

I thought the avoiding of Heikki's crash was kinda lame, no need to
censor the rescue effort.

Most of the people hanging around were for the repair of the tyre
wall, so that's mostly all you'd have seen, besides they can't show
any detail on-screen in case something nasty happens and some freak
writes in claiming they've been mentally polluted by what they saw and
demanding a settlement.
