Mirrors

We've now had several incidents this season where drivers have
obviously not seen the guy trying to pass them. It looked to me as
though Piquet's effort was completely valid and Bourdais simply didn't
see him.
Now I know that, at racing speeds and with the sort of late braking
available to F1 drivers it's not easy to focus on the guy behind you
but these are the best drivers in the world and if they can't do it
there must be something wrong with either the mirrors or the cockpit
design. Moves like Piquet's are the very stuff of racing, God knows
there's little enough overtaking in F1.
Somebody suggested backward-facing cameras and a mini onboard monitor.
Sounds crazy I know but with technology as advanced as that in F1 is
it possible?

Right, and they should all be driven by joystick from trailers via
satellite links from home base in the UK.

Well , they're always claiming to be looking at ways to slow the cars down.
Mandate a couple of truck mirrors on the cars get safety and drag all in
one package
