But that was one of the most boring races I can remember.

The SC interruptions made it even worse; if it could be worse. Apart from
the obvious reason, the closing up the gaps made it feel contrived and yet
made no difference to the order of the top half dozen.

The pitstops are just a sideshow to make up for what the tech regs have
ruined. We'd be far better off with no refuelling and - with a single
supplier - tyres that could last the whole race. Oh and less wings and
slicks and lose those diffusers too.

Drum brakes? Live axle suspension? Make them use carbs instead of fuel
injection? Is anyone interested in watching Triumph Herald F1 racing?

If it's racing and not a procession - YES.
I saw 2 cars overtaken on Sunday. And 2 more failed to overtake.
Watching the cars park at Tesco is more exciting.

Been in hibernation? Are we meant to guess which year you cut and paste
that from? ;)

You know I'm still not sure why that race seemed such a disappointment by
comparison to some others..

Perfect result of course but just a whole lot of nothing for the rest.

As long as there's red on top, it's all any true F1 fan could hope for.

While your characterization is tortured and perverse: Partly because
Massa was cool and confident in his superior strategy and skill and
didn't allow Hammy's shortsighted gambit to rattle him, yes.

Pity "Kimi" can't say the same.

only you can think that MASSA FFS is cool and confident and Kimi not...
just like last year, Flip will end up as Kimi's bitch...

I was watching the news on BBC America Sunday and the talking head reported
that Hamilton had "gifted" the race to Massa. Another example of the
English (no, I don't mean British) being unnable to deal with reality.
Failed performance and strategy are not "gifting."
